All children must be registered using our activity-specific consent forms which detail medical conditions and emergency contact details amongst other important information. At the conclusion of a Holiday Camp, children must be signed out by the adult who registered them to the activity before they can be released. If a different adult is collecting the child, we have a password system in place.
Each activity has its own start and finish time which is detailed on the consent forms. Parents can drop off their children five minutes before the start time unless extended provision is in place.
Don’t worry; we understand you can be held up sometimes and it’s not a problem. We will wait at the venue with your child until they can be collected. All we ask is you give us a call to let us know you are on your way.
Our Multi-Sports and Activity clubs are very inclusive and we take children from a diverse range of backgrounds. If your child is shy, we will ensure they are helped to communicate with their peers in a fun and exciting way, to help develop their communication skills. We have such a variety of activities, there will be something for everyone and we are always on hand to make every activity enjoyable!
We are very passionate about good behaviour, manners and respect at any activity and this is outlined to the children at the beginning of the session. We operate a yellow and red card system, which rules out any bad language, unkindness or disrespect. The children on our activities really appreciate what we expect off them and in turn they get the respect of the staff.
During an activity with us, wherever possible, we will get the children active outside. However, if the weather is bad, we will have a school hall in which the activities can take place. Our courses will never be cancelled due to bad weather.
On a Holiday Camp, your child needs to bring a packed lunch, plenty of still drinks and needs to be wearing active clothing and trainers. On a Football Camp, children will be required to bring shin pads and a waterproof jacket as well as trainers. At our extra-curricular activities, children just need some appropriate clothing, trainers, a drink and a healthy snack.
There is at least one paediatric first aid staff member on site at each club, and each venue are in possession of a fully stocked first aid kit. In the event of an accident, our staff would assess the injury and if minor, treat them on the scene. Parents would be contacted to ensure they were happy for their child to continue with the activity, and an accident notification form would be filled out in which the parents and the company receive a copy. In the event of a more serious accident, the parents would be contacted immediately and the child taken to hospital.
