PPA time is set aside for teachers to carry out planning, preparation, and assessment activities.
By providing an allocated member of staff to deliver a reliable and effective service, we offer consistency for the children as well as the school leadership as our staff member becomes a recognised part of the school team.

We are offering you the chance to see how we can operate in your school free of charge!
We will happily provide one week of full PPA cover, plus an extracurricular taster session. The session can be tailored to your needs in terms of time, sport, day and duration.
Cost-Efficient
Central Education provides a solution to PPA & Sports cover and teacher CPD cover at a fraction of the cost of an employed member of staff.
We only charge for the days or sessions that we deliver. There are no admin costs, no payment over school holidays and a guarantee of service satisfaction.
Each school is offered a bespoke service; and whether we are in school for one hour per week or 35 hours per week, each school will receive the same excellent standard of delivery. We can guarantee that we will be more cost-effective than your current provider, with a better level of service.

From one Hour per Week to a Full Time Staff Member
Schools can book Central Education to support with the delivery of PE, Physical Activity and School Sport from a little as one hour a week to having a Central Education staff member in all day, every day! Full time staff members are able to:
- Plan, prepare and deliver all PE lessons during staff PPA time
- Provide full termly assessments and yearly reports
- Liaise with the School Games Organiser and prepare teams for events
- Organise all letters and consent forms for events
- Organise and deliver a wide variety of after school clubs
- Provide evidence and complete the School Games Mark application
- Ensure 100% of children can access a form of competition through inclusive events
- Provide activities to engage the least active children such as Change4Life clubs
- Deliver lunchtime clubs to provide level one School Games events as well as combat potential challenging behaviour over lunchtimes

Please note that the Association for Physical Education (afPE) and the Secretary of State does not consider employing coaches or specialist teachers to cover PPA as a sustainable and effective use of the Primary and PE Sport Premium.
