All children have the right to participate and be protected from poor practice and abuse regardless of age, gender, disability, ethnic origin, religion, cultural background, language and social status.
All incidences of poor practice, suspicions and allegations will be taken seriously and responded to quickly and appropriately.
We are passionate about safeguarding. Your child’s safety is paramount and we have policies and procedures in place to ensure this is the case.

Code of Conduct
All of our staff across each service must adhere to a strict code of conduct. To run alongside this, we ask all children to respect our Central High 5 core values.
We are passionate about helping children to achieve their goals, whilst being helpful, kind, polite and enthusiastic.
Good behaviour is always rewarded with our in-house awards system, with prizes, certificates, medals and trophies.
We thoroughly believe sport can be beneficial towards improving attitude, behaviour and sportsmanship.
Registers
All of our extra curricular activities are monitored with a registration and sign-out procedure. Prior to any activity, parents must complete an online consent form which details any medical information and emergency contacts.
These details are then transferred to the online register, which staff are in possession of for the duration of the course.
Staff
All staff are hand-selected by the company’s managing director and must complete the following before being recruited:
- Attend a face-to-face interview
- Have background checked
- Have references checked
- Process a new, clean DBS disclosure
- Complete a child protection workshop
- Hold a current First Aid certificate
- Be working towards Paediatric First Aid qualified
- Hold the relevant qualifications
Ongoing Staff Assessment
Once recruited, all staff are regularly observed and complete in house CPD training, through the company, to ensure absolute excellence.
All our staff hold the relevant qualifications needed, uphold a professional appearance and are in possession of a fully stocked first aid kit.
Our staff only use the correct equipment for the desired activity and age group and ensure all venues are safe, secure, well looked after and sufficiently maintained.
All staff hold an in date Safeguarding and Child Protection certificate Regular spot checks and quizzes are used to ensure all staff feel confident in their ability to safeguard children to the highest level.
Each holiday club venue involves a strict regime of supervised activities, in depth consent forms, registers and sign out sheets.
There is a Designated Safeguarding Lead on site (EYFS settings) or available at all times (voluntary registered settings). We are Ofsted registered across all settings to ensure good practice.
